I am one of the many people in this world who are just smitten with midcentury modern everything. The palettes! The curvilinear compositions! The overall vibe! This piece is me riffing on the fantasy of what it might've been like to be a painter in that era, having drinks with one of the Mad Men (ok, THE original Mad Man, Don Draper) in some exquisitely swanky apartment, listening to something by Dave Brubeck on the hi fi.
